Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund
NBF is building a community-funded scholarship fund for student-athletes. The program is not yet accepting applications.
Program Status
A Fund We’re Still Building.
National Boosters Foundation provides teams and student-athletes with tools and resources all year long — fundraising, meal prep, uniforms, NIL, nutrition, and more. A scholarship fund is something we’re working toward as part of that bigger picture.
We are building that fund through community fundraising. Until it is large enough to support awards responsibly, NBF is not running a scholarship program.
Not currently accepting applications. NBF is not accepting scholarship applications or nominations at this time. There is no application form, and no opening date has been set. Contacting NBF now does not create eligibility and does not improve anyone’s standing for a future award. When the program opens, it will open publicly, on published dates, with the same requirements applied to every applicant.
What We’ll Publish Before Applications Open
If and when NBF opens a scholarship program, the following will be published on this page before the first application is accepted:
- Written eligibility requirements — the same criteria applied to every applicant.
- A written scoring rubric — each criterion and the weight it carries, including financial need and community impact.
- Fixed dates — when applications open, when they close, when decisions are made, and when funds are disbursed.
- Who reviews applications — the composition of the review committee and how decisions are recorded.
Our Standing Rules
These rules are policy regardless of whether a scholarship program is running:
- Directors, employees, and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive an award.
- Any reviewer who knows an applicant personally must disclose that relationship and recuse themselves from that applicant’s review.
- A written record of the reasons for each award is kept.
- Donors and sponsors cannot direct funds to a specific individual.
